At Jyske Bank's headquarters in Silkeborg, the challenge of acoustics in large open spaces was addressed with custom-made acoustic frames from System Standex.

These double-sided frames with interchangeable fabric banners functioned as sound-absorbing acoustic walls, allowing for flexible room design. With built-in magnets, the frames could also hold whiteboards and decorations, all while maintaining an aesthetic design in the bank's colors and logo. This solution not only improved the working environment but also provided a dynamic and functional interior design option.

Solution

The solution came in the form of sound-absorbing acoustic frames from System Standex, custom-made to specific dimensions. These double-sided frames were decorated with interchangeable fabric banners and served as acoustic walls in various heights and widths, offering a flexible interior design option that could be adapted as needed.

To enhance functionality, all frames were equipped with built-in magnets, allowing for the attachment of whiteboards or decorations to the acoustic walls. The graphic design on the fabric banners was carefully matched to Jyske Bank's colors and logo, while the aluminum profiles were coated in a matching RAL color. Additionally, some of the acoustic frames were mounted on wheels, making it easy to open or close off the screened area. This acoustic solution provided several benefits.

Besides creating a quieter work environment with more space for concentration through sound absorption and screening, it also allowed for flexible interior design with movable walls. At the same time, the decorative fabric banners added an aesthetic dimension to the common area.
